Backstreet Boys
Still living them in our hert
World most pupuler musicians. The group rose to fame with their debut international album, Backstreet Boys (1996). In the following year they released their second international album Backstreet's Back (1997) along with their self-titled U.S. debut album, which continued the group's success worldwide. They rose to superstardom with their third studio album Millennium (1999) and its follow-up album, Black & Blue (2000).After a two-year hiatus, they regrouped and released a comeback album Never Gone (2005). After the conclusion of the Never Gone Tour in 2006, Richardson left the group to pursue other interests.[4] The group then released two albums as a quartet: Unbreakable (2007) and This Is Us (2009).
In 2012, the group announced that Richardson had rejoined them permanently.[5] In the following year they celebrated their 20th anniversary and released their first independent album, In a World Like This (2013). The group also released their first documentary movie, titled Backstreet Boys: Show 'Em What You're Made Of in January 2015.[6]
The Backstreet Boys have sold over 100 million records worldwide,[7] making them the best-selling boy band of all time,[1] and one of the world's best-selling music artists. They are the first group since Sade to have their first nine albums reach the top 10 on the Billboard 200,[8] and the only boy band to do so. The Backstreet Boys are one of the few boy bands to have continued success long after their peak. Their 2013 album In a World Like This debuted in the top five, two decades after the group was formed. The group received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 22, 2013.
Artistry Edit
The Backstreet Boys have always prided themselves as a vocal harmony group and not a boy band. In order to fight the boy band stereotype and the backlash from New Kids on the Block's lip-sync scandal in the beginning, they sing a cappella every chance they get. The ad they answered in 1993 was for a singing group with "New Kids on the Block look with a Boyz II Men sound", and they aimed to have a white version of Boyz II Men."We were fans of New Kids, but were we really modeled after them? No. We looked at ourselves as Shai, Jodeci, Boyz II Men, the true vocal groups. That's who we listened to and who we really wanted to be like," Littrell stated in 2011.The Backstreet Boys often employ polyphonic harmony, which sets them apart from many other singing groups. In choruses, Littrell, Carter, and McLean usually sing the melody with Dorough harmonizing above the melody and Richardson covering the bass parts.During Richardson's absence, McLean and Carter together covered his part in choruses while Dorough took his solo parts, although McLean sang Richardson's verse in "Drowning"
The Backstreet Boys' musical style has evolved over the years. On their debut and second album, they sang a hybrid of R&B and dance club pop mixed with new jack balladry and hip-hop.With Millennium and Black & Blue, they started to abandon R&B and shift more toward pop and pop rock, as demonstrated on songs like "I Want It That Way", "Shape of My Heart", "Larger than Life", and "Not For Me". The group drastically changed their style in 2005 with their comeback album Never Gone, which is an adult contemporary record featuring only live instruments, a departure from their previous pop sound that features a lot of synthesizers.Compared to their previous albums, Never Gone is "more organic, more stripped-down, less harmonies, more instrumentation".Their first album without Richardson, Unbreakable, is similar to Never Gone. It leans toward adult contemporary and contemporary pop music and features interwoven choral harmonies, piano, strings, guitar, and drums, with a little bit of hip-hop and reggae elements on some tracks, such as "One in A Million".[unreliable source?] With their seventh studio album, This Is Us, they went back to their original dance-pop beats combined with electropop. It also contains a more R&B sound compared to Unbreakable. The group .

Puerto Rican rapper and songwriter artist Daddy Yankee has released seven studio albums, two live albums, thirty-four singles, and one soundtrack. He made his debut on DJ Playero's Playero 34 mixtape, released in 1991. He was later featured on Playero's 37 and 38 albums, before releasing his first solo record in 1995, titled No Mercy. During the rest of the 1990s, he continued working on underground reggaeton records and released his first album as producer El Cartel de Yankee in 1997.After the release of his 2001 independent album El Cartel II: Los Cangris, he released his second studio album, El Cangri.com, in June 2002. It is cited as the record that made him notorious outside his natal Puerto Rico, being his music introduced in New York City and Miami.[3][4] Without any major label backing him, El Cangri.com managed to peak at number 43 on the US Top Latin Albums chart.[3][5] A track from the album, "Brugal Mix", became his first Billboard chart entry by peaking at number 40 on the US Tropical Songs chart in November 2002.

He later released Los Homerun-es in 2003, a compilation album that features re-recorded Playero mixtape tracks, which peaked at number 158 in the United States and at number seven on the US Top Latin Albums chart.[3] Barrio Fino, his third studio album, was released in July 2004 and became the first reggaeton record to debut and peak at number one on the US Top Latin Albums chart. It was later certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.[7] Barrio Fino is cited as the album that introduced reggaeton into the mainstream market and became the best selling Latin album of the 2000s decade in the United States.[8][9] The success of its lead single "Gasolina" led to the creation of a new radio format in the United States named Latin Rhythm Airplay.[10] A follow-up live album, titled Barrio Fino en Directo, was released in December 2005 and spent fourteen weeks at the top of the US Top Latin Albums, subsequently receiving a gold certification.
His fourth studio album El Cartel: The Big Boss (2007) became his first top ten entry in the United States by peaking at number nine and earned a triple platinum (Latin) certification by the RIAA.[12][13] Its singles "Impacto" and "Ella Me Levantó" both peaked at number two on the US Hot Latin Songs chart. Talento de Barrio, a soundtrack for the namesake film, was released in August 2008. Mundial, his fifth studio album, was released in April 2010. His sixth studio album Prestige was released in September 2012 and includes the US Latin number one singles "Lovumba" and "Limbo". A mixtape titled King Daddy was released in October 2013 and became the first digital-only album to rank within the top ten on the US Top Latin Albums chart.[14]
In 2017, Daddy Yankee was featured on Luis Fonsi's single "Despacito", which topped the charts in 47 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada, aided by a remix version featuring Justin Bieber. It became the first primarily Spanish-language song to peak at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 since 1996 and topped the chart for 16 weeks, tying with "One Sweet Day" by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men as the longest-reigning number-one single in the chart's history.[15] The song also became the longest-reigning number one on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart with 52 weeks and the longest-reigning foreign language number one in the United Kingdom with 11 weeks.[16][17] Its success led Daddy Yankee to become the most listened artist worldwide on the streaming service Spotify in June 2017, being the first Latin artist to do so.[18][19]
As of October 2017, Barrio Fino and Barrio Fino en Directo are the seventh and 13th best selling Latin albums in the United States, respectively. During his career, Daddy Yankee hit 58 entries on the US Hot Latin Songs chart, from which. Download

In June 2018, Marshmello released his second studio album, Joytime II, with singles "Tell Me" and "Check This Out".
His stage name, Marshmello, is a misspelling of marshmallow. He wears a custom helmet loosely based on a marshmallow for public appearances. He covers his identity similarly to other electronic music artists such as Deadmau5 and Daft Punk, and has falsely revealed himself as Tiësto, Will Ferrell, and Shawn Mendes in the past. Deadmau5 inspired Marshmello's appearance and style.
Marshmello wears a custom helmet for public appearances. His identity was unknown, but was confirmed in late 2017 by Forbes.[8]
Marshmello's stage name, an alternative spelling of "marshmallow", and his marshmallow mascot head were both inspired by Canadian electronic music producer Deadmau5, who also notably uses an alternate spelling for his stage name and performs wearing a "dead mouse" mascot head.[57] Acknowledgement of Deadmau5's contribution to Marshmello's persona is evident in the music video for "Alone", which features Marshmello's pet mouse, Joel (Deadmau5's real name).[58] Marshmello also referenced Deadmau5 with a variant of his helmet (with a third ear) featured in the original edit of "Ritual"'s music video.[59] This was removed at deadmau5's request.[60][61]
While Marshmello's initial identity was not initially confirmed, the most widespread speculation was that he is Chris Comstock, also known as Dotcom.[8][62][63][64][7][8] The speculation was confirmed as true in 2017.[48]
Musical style
His musical style includes groove-oriented, synth and bass-heavy electronic dance music.[7] Inspired by other masked DJs like Deadmau5 and Daft Punk, Marshmello appears wearing a full-head-covering white coloured bucket.[65] Despite the anonymity, his career received international recognition in 2015 when he began releasing tracks online, including remixes of Zedd's "Beautiful Now", Jack Ü's "Where Are Ü Now" and others, as well as his own single "Alone".

In the End" is song written by Linkin Park from their debut album Hybrid Theory (2000). Its lyrics to the song is mainly based on one person's failure. It is considered symbolic of an ending relationship. However it can also be symbolic of a long-lasting friendship's trust between one another that has gone away. It was originally a poem but was deemed good enough to be a song, it is also considered Linkin Park's signature song. "In The End" is also one of Linkin Park's most popular song which it is always performed in every of their concerts.
The song was released as the album's fourth and last single in late 2001 and entered the top ten on the majority of the charts it appeared on.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PVV56GpnrQfwzkjQHEubFsXkbkUzhH3G/view?usp=drivesdk

In the mid-1950s, Amaradeva in his Janagayana project consulted experts of the Kandyan dance tradition like Pani Bharata, Kiriganita, Gunamala, Ukkuva and Suramba in his path to understand what constituted Sinhala folk music. Noting that it mostly revolved around a single melody, he decided to add verses that would lead up to the central melody which would now be a chorus thus forming two parts (unseen earlier in traditional Sri Lankan music) removing restrictions that had existed earlier. In doing so, Amaradeva created a uniquely Sinhalese music style that stayed true to folk tradition while incorporating outside influences. His work was vital in the creation of the sarala gee genr practised subsequently by artists like Sanath Nandasiri, Victor Ratnayake, T.M. Jayaratne, Sunil Edirisinghe and Gunadasa Kapuge etc.[8][9]
Pandit Amaradeva had been the recipient of numerous awards including the Philippine Ramon Magsaysay Award (2001), Indian Padma Sri Award (2002)[10] and Sri Lankan "President's Award of Kala Keerthi" (1986) and Deshamanya Award (1998). In 2003 the French government awarded him the prestigious honour; Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.[11] Notably he still remains the most popular artist as confirmed by Nielsen Media Research findings[12] He has also represented Sri Lanka in many forums including the UNESCO 1967 Manila Symposium. The University of Kelaniya conferred on him the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Fine Arts) Honoris Causa in 1991 and the University of Ruhuna and University of Peradeniya conferred on him the Degree of Doctor of Letters, Honoris Causa in 1993 and 1998[2][3]
In 1972, Pandit Amaradeva composed the music for the Maldivian National Anthem (Gaumii salaam) at the request of Maldivian Government.
Amaradeva died at the age of 88 on 3 November 2016 due to a heart failure. A state funeral was held by the government with a week of national mourning declared.....

Perry rose to fame in 2008 with the release of her second album, a pop rock record titled One of the Boys, and its singles "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot n Cold". The former track also sparked controversy for its sapphic themes. Her third album, Teenage Dream (2010), ventured into disco, and was her first album to top the U.S. Billboard 200. It topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 with the singles "California Gurls", "Teenage Dream", "Firework", "E.T.", and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" while "The One That Got Away" reached number 3 on the chart. The album became the first by a female artist to produce five number-one songs in the U.S., and the second overall after Michael Jackson's album Bad. In March 2012, she re-issued the album as Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, which produced the songs "Part of Me" and "Wide Awake". Her fourth album, Prism (2013), was her second to peak atop the U.S. charts. It is influenced by pop and dance, and she became the first artist with multiple videos to reach one billion views on Vevo with the videos for its songs "Roar" and "Dark Horse". Her fifth album, Witness (2017), delved into electropop and became her third album to reach number one in the U.S. Its most successful single, "Chained to the Rhythm", broke the record for Spotify's most streamed track by a female artist within 24 hours upon it's release.....
Perry has received many awards, including four Guinness World Records, five American Music Awards, a Brit Award, and a Juno Award, and has been included in the annual Forbes lists of highest-earning women in music from 2011–2018. Her estimated net worth as of 2016 is $125 million.
